Cathy, Jenna and Adam: I am profoundly saddened in the loss of your husband and father. Randy and I were great friends throughout elementary, middle and high school. We always sat in alphabetical order in grade school so Heaston/Hammond were always next to each other. He was a great friend and I will always have such fond memories of him as a wonderful person and friend. Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Linda

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of need. Randy was a friend classmate and a neighbor of mine. I joined the AIr Force and moved away from Bloomingdale but I would always seem to see him when I would come back to visit my parents. Randy was a good person and he will be missed. Delbert Dalton

Hi Cathy, Jenna and Adam! I am so sorry for your loss and so happy for Randy moving on to where he is no longer in pain and suffering. He was a great man, that I really enjoyed and considered a friend. He always had something good to say and I was blessed to have him as part of my life. You all now have him watching over you and don't forget that when you need him, he will be there always! Let me know if you need anything - I will be glad to help if at all possible. So sorry I can not come and see Randy, but I am working today and we have our reader's theatre production tonight at the Hopedale Methodist Church. I am one of the cast members and must be there to open the Church and to read. You are all in my thoughts and prayers and truly blessed to have had such a great man for your husband Cathy and for your father - Adam and Jenna! I can picture him now sitting up there with my father and the two are just BSing away having a really great time! May God bless all of you and help you through this sad time and may peace be given to you also! Always remember Randy is still in the hands of God, who is always there for us! Love - Andy
