Obituary For Ralph H. Dehnart

Ralph H. Dehnart, 75, of Wintersville, OH passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Trinity West. He was born in Steubenville, OH on July 19, 1944 a son of the late Edwin and Ruth Porter Dehnart. He retired from Jefferson Vocational School as a custodian and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Brilliant Methodist Church, where he served on several committees and was a member of Smithfield Masonic Lodge. In addition to his parents Ralph was preceded in death by his brothers Paul, Clifford and Raymond Dehnart; sister Wanda Logan. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth “Beth” Smith Dehnart; daughter Jennifer Brown and her fiancé William Johnston of Weirton, WV; brothers Robert (Jeanie) Dehnart of Florida and William (Pat) Dehnart of Brilliant; sister Shirley (Richard) Morgan of Steubenville; numerous nieces and nephews and his best buddy “Max”. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Sunday 2-5p.m., where funeral services will be held on Monday, October 14, 2019, 11a.m. with Pastor Kevin Daugherty officiating. Private burial.

    Beth,My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I am in IN and unable to come to visitation. I truly understand the devastation you are going through. Ralph always seemed like such a gentle soul. I also wanted to tell you that I was not aware that Barb had passed until after the fact. I would have been there otherwise. Prayers and hugs Beth.
