Ralph E. Dennis, 88, of Steubenville, Ohio a kind, honest man went home to God on November 28, 2013. He was born in Steubenville on August 16, 1925 a son of the late Oakey S. & Alma Williamson Dennis. Ralph's long life was centered around his family that he so cherished. Ralph was often found working in his garden or apple orchard, and would happily sit and talk with any visitor that stopped by. As an active member of Bell Chapel, specifically the Men's Group, Ralph gave his time and energy to making their dinners successful. Though he will be truly missed, his values will continue to live through his friends and family. He was a retired welder for Richmond Mills. Preceding Ralph in death were his brother Earl Dennis & sister Eva Thompson. Ralph is survived by his wife Avella M. So sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Dennis. He will be truly missed but will live in thru his family! I remember stopping to help Mr. Dennis on my way to my parents house (Kenny and Pat Walter). He was mowing grass and had the tractor stuck on the bank near the road. That was Ralph, always outside and enjoying nature! God bless him and the entire family during this difficult time.
