Obituary For Querino J. Dalbenzio

Querino J. Dalbenzio, 74, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Trinity West.  He was born November 27, 1937 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of the late Querino T. and Nellie Dalbenzio.  Querino worked at Kroger Company in Hollywood Plaza.  He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.  Surviving are his wife Mary M. “Peggy” Evans Dalbenzio; children Debbie (Norman) Allen, Lynne (Ray) Bentley, Jimmy Cash and Amy (Michael) Meadows; six grandchildren Justin and Ryan Allen, Eric and Anthony Bentley and Mara and Brynn Meadows; two sisters Sharon (Gerald) Stewart and Diane Dalbenzio; several nieces and nephews and beloved feline friend Dibot.   There will be no visitation.  A memorial mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church (everyone please meet at church) on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. with Msgr. Gerald Calovini as celebrant.  Burial private.  Arrangements entrusted to Dunlope - Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to Charity Hospice, PO Box 2483, Wintersville, OH 43953.

    Amy, I am sorry to learn of your father's passing. One of my early memories is of him. As a child I was always fascinated by how quickly he ran the register at Kroger's (this of course was long before scanners.) I miss you guys and just know I am thinking of you all.
