Phyllis A. Bee, 81, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Trinity West Medical Center. Phyllis was born on January 8, 1944 in Steubenville, Ohio the daughter of the late Philip & Martha McCombs Buono.
She graduated from Steubenville High School and worked for over twenty years as a cook for Forester Nursing Home. Phyllis was a member of Crossroads Christian Church and an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband James L. Bee, Sr.; daughter Jan Bee and brother Robert Buono. She is survived by children Jamie (Darin) Heavilin, Janie (Brian) Hibbits & James L. Bee, Jr.; brother Richard (Bonnie) Buono; seven grandchildren Morgan Heavilin, Darin (Rachel) Heavilin Jr., Alexis (Dustin) Davis, Anthony (Marissa) Heavilin, Dylan (Allyssa) Hibbits, Brianna (Chase Chrisley) Hibbits & Blake Bee; eleven, with one on the way, great-grandchildren; special niece Mandy Buchanan and her special group of friends, The Golden Girls, Charlotte, Sandy & Karen.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Additional visitation Friday, February 14, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tim Groos officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
