Along with his parents, Pete is predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Evelyn Paris Milicia; his sister and brother-in-law, Patrina and Joseph Agriesti, their daughter, Rose Agriesti, and brother-in-law, James Tose. Pete was a graduate of Adena High School, attended Xavier University, and served in the United States Army.
Pete began his career in his beloved P & M Bar and Restaurant prior to working for Prudential Insurance, and eventually starting his own independent insurance agency, Milicia Insurance, until his retirement.

My deepest sympathy to all of you for the loss of your wonderful dad! I loved working with Pete and learning all about insurance. He showed me everything I needed to continue working with Insurance. His friendship meant a lot to me and we had all of our insurance with him and still do with Grange. It never seemed like work, we were all like a family at the agency. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I will never forget Pete and all of his kindness to me. Rest in Peace Pete 💙

It was such a blessing to care for Pete during the final part of his journey. We shared so many wonderful conversations about P&Ms, Adena, and Steubenville, Ohio-so close to my hometown. We listened to Frank Sinatra all the time, and he always knew how to make me smile, just as I hoped I did for him. May he rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this incredibly difficult time. Pete will always hold a special place in my heart, and I will never forget the joy and kindness he brought into my life.
