Pearl E. Hart Rudd 88 of Steubenville, OH died Wednesday, January 16, 2002 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH. She was born in New Martinsville, WV on May 17, 1913 the daughter of the late William Johnson and the late Bessie Huggins Johnson Goodman Probts. She was Baptist by faith. She was the owner and operator of the former Wamsley’ s Truck Stop, Steubenville, OH and the former H&P Bar and Restaurant, Steubenville, OH. She had also worked at Foresters Nursing Home as a nurses aid, and had also previously worked in the kitchen at the Steubenville Country Club. She was proceeded in death by 1st husband: Harry M. Hart, 2nd husband: Walter Rudd, brother: Lou Goodman, sister: Leona Call. She is survived by sons: David Hart and wife Georgiann of Steubenville, OH, Jeff Hart and wife Freda of Columbus, OH, Doug Hart and wife Ilene of Carrollton, OH, step-daughters: Betty Evans of Bergholz, OH and Laura Antill and husband Richard of Bridgeport, WV, thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Private services will be held on Friday at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville, with Rev. John Beard officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville, OH.
