Pearl E. Pierce 91 of Steubenville, OH died Monday, October 27, 2003 at Trinity West, Steubenville. She was born in Aleppo, PA on March 12, 1912 a daughter of the late George W. and Ownie Winters Pierson. She was preceded in death by her husband James W. Pierce, he died July 28, 1976, brothers George, Frank, Orval and Jimmy Pierson, sisters Mary Crawford and Marie Pierson. She is survived by a son James Richard Pierce of Steubenville, foster daughter Doris A. Medley of Steubenville, brothers Kenneth Pierson of Newton Falls, OH and John Pierson of Holbrook, PA, sisters Emma Pierce of Slovan, PA, Susan Miller of Richmond, OH and Goldie Kimble of Bergholz, OH, 3 grandsons, 2 step grandsons, 3 foster grandsons, 1 foster granddaughter, 10 foster great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, OH on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9p.m., where services will be held on Thursday at 1p.m. with Rev. Jeff Proya officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
