Obituary For Paul Tripodi

Paul Tripodi, 81, of Wintersville, Ohio died Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Trinity West. He was born January 23, 1934 in Virginville, WV a son of the late Peter and Mary Urso Tripodi. Paul was a member of Triumph of the Cross, Gadabouts, Fun Seekers and Prime Time. He was a bricklayer and owned and operated Paul Tripodi Contracting. Preceding Paul in death were his brother Ernest Tripodi; two sisters Theresa Tripodi and Antoinette Mariani and one granddaughter Devon Cook. Surviving are his wife Gloria G. DiAlbert Tripodi; two daughters Deborah (David) Cook of Steubenville, OH and Paula (William) Hope of Steubenville, OH; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren David Paul (Brittany) Cook and their daughter Lily Cook, Deidre (Joshua) Buffo and their children Olivia and Domenica Buffo and Daniel Cook. Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville Tuesday 4 – 7 p.m. Funeral Liturgy with mass will be celebrated at Triumph of the Cross (Holy Rosary) on Wednesday 10 a.m. with Rev. Thomas Nau officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

    Gloria, Debbie, & Paula, our family was so saddened on hearing about Paul's passing. Gloria, you guy's always treated us so well. Please know that I am praying for you, & thinking of you in this time of grief. I'll always remember Paul with a smile on his face, because anytime I saw him, that's what he was doing.

    Dear Gloria and all the Tripodi Family, we are so sorry to read of Paul's passing. He was such a good and nice man, always a smile on his face. He was the man that bricked the front of our home so many years ago. We are so saddened for your loss. May God give you all the strength and peace to make this very sad journey. Rest in Peace Paul. We are keeping you in our prayers.

    to aunt gloria ..deebie and paula, and families. this time is so difficult, it changes life as you know it..its sad, and your heart has an empty space..but, memories and images of him will always be with you...any of course, you will cherish every moment yeans had together. i have never know anyone who was so perfect as husband and wife as aunt gloria and uncle paul.. they lived life as it should be. what a wonderful loving life yeans shared.. a bond that can not be broken, not even in death..heres to you uncle paul for giving your family a wonderful life.

    Dear Gloria and family, I am sorry to learn of Paul's passing. I will not be able to attend the viewing because I am Boy Scout Camp on Tuesday afternoons. I will keep all of you in my prayers. All of you gave Paul excellent care. He loved all of you and you all loved him. I know he is in heaven showering down his love and comfort for each of you. I will keep all of you in my prayers.
