Paul R. Stead, 77, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away Monday, December 9, 2019 at Allegheny General Hospital. He was born October 18, 1942 in Steubenville, the son of the late Paul F. & Mary J. Kasper Stead. An Ohio Valley businessman for over forty years, Paul started his career managing The Hub Salon, then going on to owning several others. His greatest joy in life was serving God’s people, pastoring Holy Ghost & Fire Ministries and Christ Healing Center. Paul worked in the five-fold ministry as Pastor, Teacher, Apostle and Prophet. Nothing brought him greater joy than to see his people step out into the ministry for God.
Paul is survived by his wife Mary T. Remp Stead; four sons Jon (Laurie), Marc (Megan), Shawn & Jonathan D. Stead; daughter Shanlie Stead; granddaughters Jenna Stead Koniski & Sara Stead; and his canine companions Lazer & Vella and late Petey.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Thursday 2-6 p.m.; where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial at Union Cemetery.

Friends for 34 years and I will dearly miss him, and feel sad knowing he's gone on.We say that Paul has "departed," but God says that he has "arrived."God sees things from such a different perspective than we do. God never sees His children die. He simply sees them coming home.I will deeply miss Paul! But I rejoice this day that he is with my Savior, Jesus. Met Paul in the early 80's when he first cut my hair and formed a friendship with him and his wife for many years to come sharing in God;s ministry at Word of Life Church. I truly loved and admired Paul for all he stood for and believed. He was truly a man of God. He will be missed by many but not forgotten. Sending my prayers to Mary and family at this time. But knowing that Paul went home where we are going some day too. rejoicing with Father God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit!!!
