Paul Lance Montgomery, 50, of Salem, OH formerly of Steubenville died Friday, March 23, 2012 at his home. He was born February 12, 1962 at the Wright Patterson Air Force Hospital in Dayton, OH a son of Paul James Montgomery and Darlene Sue Powers Montgomery Nuckols. He lived in the Salem area for the last two years, coming from Akron, OH. He was a master mechanic and enjoyed wrenching on cars. Lance may have had a warped sense of humor, but he was sensitive and kind hearted. He enjoyed Metallica, cartoons, drag racing and dreamed of going to drag racing school. Survived by his mother and step-father Darlene Sue (husband Robert) Nuckols of Punta Gorta, FL; father Paul James Montgomery of Salem, OH and his brother Shawn Vernon (wife Satya) Montgomery of Upton, MA. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Thursday from 6:30 p.m. until time of memorial services at 7p.m.

To Lance's family: I want to send my heartfelt sympathy to you all, heaven sure did get a special angel.I was so shocked and sad to hear the news. Lance was always so sweet and kind to me and willing to help me out in anyway, I was so sorry to lose touch with him when he moved away. He sure will be missed by all that he has touched.
