Obituary For Paul Labanna

Paul Labanna 78 of Wintersville, Ohio died Sunday, September 19, 2004 at Trinity West. He was born in Steubenville on July 16, 1926 a son of the late Charles and Mary Bodnar Labanna. Paul was a member of Wintersville U.M. Church; Wintersville American Legion Post 557; and Weirton Steel 25 Year Club. He was a retired assistant roller from Weirton Steel 54 inch Hot Mill and served in the Army during WWII. Preceding Paul in death were his sister Mary Kusma and brothers Michael and George Labanna. Paul is survived by his former wife of 33 years Dorothy Moore Labanna of Wintersville; daughter Victoria (James) Branagan of Wintersville; son Michael W. (Kim) Labanna of Wintersville; eight grandchildren Dawn Labanna with whom he resided, Jason (Renee) Labanna of San Antonio, TX, Kelly Branagan of Weirton, WV, Matt (Jessica) Branagan of Columbus, Ohio, Patrick Branagan of Akron, Ohio, Tim Branagan Pittsburgh, PA, Logan Labanna and Mason Labanna both of Wintersville; four great grandchildren; sister Ann (Joe) Cola of Wintersville and brother John (Geraldine) Labanics of Steubenville. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.; where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday with Rev. John Byard officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben where Ohio Valley Veterans will conduct military services.
