Patty Blackburn, 69, of Wintersville, Ohio died Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Life Line Hospital. She was born in Wintersville, OH on May 20, 1944 a daughter of the late Lindsay D. and Mildred J. Spicer Gump. Patty was a member of Finley United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to taking care of her family. Preceding Patty in death was her husband Robert R. “Blackie” Blackburn on November 1, 2013. Surviving are her children Bobby (Lynda) Blackburn of Wintersville, OH, Ray Blackburn of Wintersville, OH, Russ (Jenn) Blackburn of Bloomingdale, OH, Theresa (Brian) Martin of Wintersville, OH and Tracy (Alan) Blackburn of Wintersville, OH; seven grandchildren Austin Martin, Kayla Francis Blackburn, Jonathan Blackburn, Trevor Martin, Nathan Martin, Becca Blackburn and Tyler Martin and her pets. Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Friday 5 – 7 p.m. where a funeral service will be held Saturday 10 a.m. with Rev. Jerry Ernst officiating. Entombment at Fort Steuben. Memorial donations may be directed to Tony Teramana Cancer Center, 3204 Johnson Road, Steubenville, OH 43952
