Patsy Lee Shaffer, 83, of Wintersville, OH passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Valley Hospice North. She was born in Steubenville on October 3, 1939 a daughter of the late Clark T. and Garnett A. Morris Retzer. She was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Follansbee, WV and retired from Trinity West as an L.P.N. in the Renal Care Unit.

In addition to her parents, her husband Lonnie E. “Gene” Shaffer preceded her in death. Patsy is survived by her children Steven (Leslie) Shaffer, Dan (Heather) Shaffer and Joy (Bill) Stephens; sister Carol Bane; brother Ronald (Patti) Retzer; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Larry Garrison officiating. Burial at Cross Creek Cemetery.
