Patricia A. Grimes, 87, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away on January 10, 2022 at Trinity West Hospital. Patricia was born on August 26, 1934 in Maynard, Ohio a daughter of the late Pierce and Esther Williams Shrieve.
Patricia was a long-time member of Wintersville United Methodist Church, serving with the United Methodist Women’s group. She was a proud graduate of St. Clairsville High School Class of 1952. Patricia retired as a Teller from Uni Bank allowing her to care for her grandchildren and pursue her love of quilting and gardening.
Patricia is preceded in death by great-granddaughter Sadie Jo Tice; sister Joyce Van Horne and son-in-law Bob Leonard.
Patricia dearly loved her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Glenn S. Grimes; son Tim (Janet) Grimes; daughters Glenda Leonard and Shari (Mike) Tice; five grandchildren Jason (Jenna) DiBenedetto, Christy (Albie) Devore, Cody Leonard, Ethan (Jordan) Tice & Mikayla Tice; four great-grandchildren Garrett, Jacob & Brantley Devore and Anna DiBenedetto; brother-in-law Jack Van Horne.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Thursday from 4 – 7 p.m., then at Wintersville United Methodist Church, 702 Main Street, Wintersville, Ohio on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dr. Clint Quillen officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
