Oma Louise Mellott, 93, of Mingo Junction, Ohio died Saturday, September 3, 2005 at Chapel Hill Community, Canal Fulton, Ohio. She was born in Mingo Junction on February 17, 1912, a daughter of the late Stephen H. and Ellenora Kehbel Lashley. Oma Louise was a member of First U.M. Church and was preceded in death by her husband Victor V. Mellott and two sisters Dorothy Lalich and Eda Melching. Surviving are two sons Victor V. (wife Paula) Mellott of Canal Fulton, OH and Fred W. (wife Johnnie) Mellott, Sr. of Houston, TX; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Friends may call at Hoff-Shorac Funeral Home, 235 Clifton Avenue, Mingo Junction, Ohio on Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of services at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Clint Quillen officiating. Burial at Oakland Cemetery.
