Norman E. “Norm” Gibson, 88, of Mingo Junction, OH died Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Trinity West. He was born in Pine Grove, PA on August 21, 1926 a son of the late George W. and Eva Angst Gibson. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and retired from Sears Department Store after 30 years, where he managed the auto and home improvement centers. He attended Mingo United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Wilbert Gibson; nieces Lois and Barbara Gibson. Norm is survived by his wife Margaret Aldridge Gibson; sons David (Jo-Ann) Gibson of Mingo Junction and Richard (Marsha) Gibson of Weatherford, TX; grandchildren Stephen (Stephanie) Gibson of New Albany, OH, Shawn (Sarah) Gibson of Pickerington, OH and Anna (Joe) Baczewski of Carbondale, IL; great grandchildren Maura, Ross, Owen and Drew Gibson and Stanley Baczewski; niece Karen Hess. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Thursday from 2-4p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 21, 2014 at 10a.m. Burial at Union Cemetery.
