Norma R. Crummy, 92, of Steubenville, Ohio died Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at The Laurels of Steubenville. She was born December 22, 1916 in East Pittsburgh, PA a daughter of the late Fernand & Maria Bluemont Suplit. She was a retired secretary from Penn Hills School District, Penn Hills, PA with 17 years of service. Norma was a member of Hebron U.P. Church in Penn Hills. Preceding Norma in death was her husband John A. Crummy on February 5, 1995. Surviving are her son Charles F. (Margaret) Crummy of Boyertown, PA; daughter Sheila C. (Robert) Lane of Steubenville; four grandchildren Stephanie, Morgan, Christine & Scott; three great grandchildren; and sister Eleanora S. Gruber of Sellersville, PA.There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald, PA with Rev. Jeff Proya officiating. Memorials may be directed to Valley Hospice, Inc., 380 Summit Avenue, Steubenville, OH 43952 -or- the charity of the donor’s choice.
