Obituary For Norma Jean Woodburn

Norma Jean Woodburn, 76, of Bloomingdale, Ohio died May 6, 2007 at Trinity West ER. She was born in Washington, PA on March 22, 1931 the daughter of the late Charles Lee and May Sharer McKay. Preceded in death by her husband John T. Woodburn whom she married on March 27, 1949; son-in-law Mark D. Waggoner; two brothers Glenn and Morgan McKay; and a sister Thelma Earley. Norma Jean retired from Hancock Manufacturing as a Press Operator and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in East Springfield and also held membership in East Springfield Homemakers and Senior Citizens. She was an Advisor for the Mustang 4-H club and sold Watkin Products at the Jefferson County Fair. Norma Jean also held membership in the Steel Valley Antique Car Club, Wintersville American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a Richmond Lioness. She is survived by a daughter Barbara Jean Waggoner of Bloomingdale. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9p.m., where funeral services will be held Wednesday 10 a.m. with Pastor Jim Stafford officiating. Entombment at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV Memorials may be directed to Trinity Medical Center West.
