Obituary For Norma A. Elliott

Norma Ann Elliott 73, of  Wintersville died Wednesday October 13, 2010 at The Carriage Inn, Steubenville.  She was born in Bloomfield, OH on August 27, 1937 a daughter Lawrence and Anna Smith Hoobler.  Norma enjoyed cooking for all of her family.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur Elliott and her daughter Karen Wiley.  Norma is survived by her children: Larry (Karen) Dawson of Richmond, OH, Sheila (Duane) Ramsey of Wintersville, Nick (DeeDee) Dawson of Richmond, OH, Misty (Frank) Kovach, Dalton, GA and Brent Elliott of Wintersville; sisters Gloria Wilson of Mansfield, OH, Twilla White of East Springfield, OH and Jean Sheets of Toronto, OH; brothers Dennis and Howard Hoobler both of Richmond, OH; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Friday from 6p.m. until time of memorial services at 7p.m. with Pastor Jeff Greco officiating.  Burial at Bergholz Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society.

    I first met Norma at krogers she was the sweetest she had me try my first prune but when she got ill and me and her grandson Justin would sit with her she would tell us storys about her life and when she worked at a diner. And she allways told me my nails was pretty and she was very accepting of me and justins engagement and I loved her for that she was a strong woman and will be missed allways I am so sorry for your loss the world lost a great women she will be in my heart allways RIP
