Nick, my dear friend. I will miss you so much. I wish I had been able to see you in North Carolina last time I was there. Know that I will always think of you. To Nick's family: He was a very special person with a great soul. I am sure you are proud of him. many years ago, when I was dumped in Fayetteville with my two children, Nick was one of the friends who helped us make it. He always had a word of encouragemente, always had a shoulder for me to cry. He had a funny and informal way, even though we all new that he was a serious priest whose way to reach us was to be one of us. Please, keep in touch and let me know if I can be of any help in the future. Sincerely, Naza (561) 289-1362 +55 (85) 3219-4445

Dearest Nora, Your home was always a respite for me, a place to come where I could see the love you shared with Nick, a place for fun and for relaxation, a kitchen filled with laughter and good treats, a best friend named Theresa, and two friendly dogs, Tsar and Tsarina. I remember two older brothers, both intelligent and kind, one I had a crush on (Nick) and one with a dry sense of humor (Pete). Theresa was the first person I met when I transferred to Bantam Ridge Elementary School in 4th grade. Your husband and my father were great friends, and along with George Panagis, they shared many an afternoon together in true European style, telling stories, sipping libations, eating fresh tomatoes and absent-mindedly keeping an eye on Theresa and me. My husband, Ed, and I were blessed to see you and your wonderful husband before Christmas, and he did look very handsome, in his smoking jacket. The kiss good-night he gave me will be long-remembered. With this condolence, we send you our life-long admiration and respect, and a promise to honor you and your family forever. Susie and Ed Sadowski

My family's life has been truly blessed by the genuine love, kindness, friendship and faith of our Thia Nora and Uncle Nick. Countless are the memories of swinging on the porch swing or sitting in the kitchen where the door was always open hospitality welcomed you every time. Thia Nora holding court behind the sink while Uncle Nick would share his infinite wisodom. One of my favorites being, "Little kids little trouble, big kids big trouble." Uncle Nick, I will miss you. Christos Anesti. May His Memory be Eternal.
