Nellie L. Zook, 77, of Richmond, OH died Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Trinity West. She was born March 12, 1934 in Steubenville, OH a daughter of the late James C. and Bessie M. Anderson Burns. Nellie was a member of the Wintersville Baptist Temple and the Homemakers Club of Richmond. Nellie was preceded in death by her husband Abraham Lincoln Zook on June 20, 1999 and son William Zook on September 8, 1990. Surviving are three sons Stephen Zook of Richmond, OH, James Zook of Houston, TX and Linwood (Jennifer) Zook of North Canton, OH; three daughters Dianna (Edward Schlindwein) Zook of Fort Wayne, IN, Lorraine (Robert) Gault of Toronto, OH and Lois (Pete) Zook-Gerdau of New Concord, OH; three sisters Irene Burns, Maxine Riley and Norma Burns all of Steubenville, OH; five grandchildren Jennifer, Jessica Jeffery (Lucia) and Emily Zook and Jeremy Gerdau and three great grandchildren Nicholas and Alexia Zook and Shawn Myers. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Monday 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. and on Tuesday at Wintersville Baptist Temple from 10 until the time of service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. John Beard officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to Wintersville Baptist Temple, 617 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, OH 43953.
