  We are very sad about Neal's passing. He was always so kind and generous to everybody. He took time to be a good neighbor and showed genuine concern for us and everyone, especially the kids at Willowdale - always asking about each of our loved ones- he would remember each of my children's names, where they were at college or school, what they were interested in; always ready with a compliment or support. We will miss seeing him at Willowdale at the clubhouse, taking his walks in the neighborhood and cheering on his Fighting Irish! May God give you all comfort during your time of grief and sustain you through this great loss. Our love and prayers for Neal and his family.

  I have had the pleasure to work with Neal at Jackosn for over 25 years and honored to call him my friend. His dedication to the township, knowledge of Twp law and just being a great person will be a huge loss to all of us that worked with him and the entire community he served so well. You left us way to early my friend and I'm sure your in a good place but we will miss you. God bless your Mom what an awful thing for her have to suffer through.   My deepest condolences to Neal's family at this sudden loss. Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. Neal was the ultimate civil servant working for and living in Jackson Township, which he helped to grow to it's current state. I spent twenty years working with Neal on the zoning issues and he was always there with a detailed response or solution on any issue the zoning boards required. There must be a bigger case on which his help is requested. Go Notre Dame!

  So sorry to hear of Neil's passing. I used to cut his hair for many many years and enjoyed his time spent in the salon. We would talk of our big Irish families and he would say how much he loved the get-togethers, with family and friends. Notre Dame was a big deal in our home and my father was impressed that I was cutting an alumni's hair!! Hold the good memories close to your heart now...it helps get you through!
