Obituary For Nancy Maxine Darling

Nancy Maxine Darling, 84, of Bloomingdale, Ohio died Friday, September 16, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. She was born in Holloway, Ohio on December 6, 1931 the daughter of the late Wade D. and Martha L. Craig Litten. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Virgil Earl Darling, daughter Diana Lynn Darling, son Dennis Neil Darling, brother Charles Litten and sister DeLora Breeden. Nancy retired from Crestview Veterinarian Clinic where she served as a technician and held church membership at Unionport Christian Church. Nancy’s home was her sanctuary and her family her life. She will be truly missed by her sons Wesley (Tina) Darling of Bloomingdale, Cortland Darling of North Carolina, daughters Carol Price of Santa Rosa, CA and Cathleen (David Kemp) Darling of Bloomingdale; four grandchildren Cody and Courtney Darling, Brandon Gissel and Harley Kemp; four sisters Janet Lewis of Steubenville, Helen Costello of Blacksville, WV, Rebecca Darios of Hopedale and Ruth (David) Lemley of Jewett. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Monday from Noon until the time of funeral services at 2 p.m. with Minister Jeremy Kuttler officiating. Burial will follow at Unionport Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Jefferson Co. Humane Society.
