Such an Absolutely Nice Lady, almost seemed like a 2nd Mother, especially in the 1980's

I was sincerely saddened to learn of the passing of "Suzy" (that is how we knew her) Rousey, a dear, dear friend. This friendship began in elementary school at WHS on Fernwood Road, through high school, and even after as we planned all of the class reunions for the class of '56. She and her mother opened their home to all Suzy's friends and we labeled it "Club Kincaid." A wonderful person, a smiling personality, and a great friend--may her memory be eternal. --Pete Thomas Caleodis

My dear sweet Suzie. I was blessed to be your care giver for the last 1 1/2 years. Although it was not long enough, God put us together at His perfect timing. Thank you for choosing me and for you and Ron to welcome me into your lives. You will be greatly missed here on earth but we all take comfort in knowing you are with our Lord and Savior and reunited with your family and friends who passed before you. Until we meet again in the heavenly kingdom. Love always, your angel (Erin) 💜

I am thankful that the Gerard family introduced me to Suzie and Barb. I have many fond memories of my first paying job with their Dad and hanging out with them after work at skating tent, Pops , drive in or their home. Many laughs and memories. They made me so welcome even though I went to Big Red. What a warm, wonderful woman she became. Her smile will live on forever.

I first met Susie in the 4th grade. She was the absolute heart of WHS class of 1956 and an exemplary nurse. To know her was to love her. Sandra Lawrence Ritchie
