Obituary For Nancy Jean Hickman

Nancy Jean Hickman, 75, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away on November 23, 2021 at Trinity West. Nancy was born March 14, 1946 in Steubenville, the daughter of the late James and Betty Rogers Rose. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles E. “Gene” Hickman; son Richard “Ricky” Gorman and brother Lonnie Rose.

Nancy is survived by her sons, Tom Gorman of Cincinnati, OH, Jim Gorman of Powell, OH, Ted (Lynnett) Gorman of Steubenville, Steve Gorman of Follansbee, WV, and Bud (Sara) Hickman of Galloway, OH; daughters Darla McGuire of FL, Tammy Manack of Columbus, OH, Vicki (Brian) Steele of Dunwoody, GA and Tawnya Norman of Marion, IN; twenty-two grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Per Nancy’s request, private family services will be conducted. Burial at Fort Steuben.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Steubenville High School Foundation, 420 N. Fourth St., Steubenville, OH 43952 in memory of Nancy Hickman.

Went to send my deepest condolences to all of you with the passing of your mom. Was so saddened to see this. I know the services are private, but I have always considered All of you family!
