Monad is my 2 or 3rd cousin. She was such a sweet young lady! I remember a conversation I had with her on 9/17/42! It was the day my brother was born! My Dad Glenn Winland ad dropped me off at their family home there inSteubenville, while he took my Mom to Hosp. Monad and her sister were caring for me, and we took a walk up the street. They were so kind and trying too keep me from worrying about my parents. They kept trying to get me to think about my birthday and what I might want. I said I didnt want anything but a baby brother! She said to me, What if it is a baby sister? I told her I just wanted a baby brother! Then they said maybe a pretty red sweater? I said NO, I just want a baby brother! Monad was such a sweet caring person! God put her on the earth for a reason! Sorry to hear of her passing, I have thot of her often! God be with you all!
