Mildred was a sweet neighbor in the few years that we have lived here.  She loved sitting out on her porch, watching the birds, and was always ready for a visit, especially from our children.  We extend our prayers and sympathy to the family.

After a stop at the Rainbow Bridge, she is now reunited with those who have gone on before.  My cousin Karen sent this picture, which Millie cherished.  She was a trailblazer in many ways.

I remember Aunt Chub always seemed so fashionable and stylish when I was just a scrawny kid. She was so kind and patient with me in my childhood when our family was visiting and sometimes I just needed  time away from everyone and would  pop down the road to see her and Aunt Mildred. I always appreciated her sense of humor and warmth. Her smile went right to the heart. Rest in peace Aunt Chub.

I don't think I can say anything better than my Mom, Dorothy, did. Millie was a great Aunt who livened events up and was  always there to help. She loved her animals...I'm sure Teddy, Michael, Rusty and Gizzy were there to greet her. God spped.

I will always remember Mildred's energy and  love of traveling but especially her love for her family...She was happiest when one of her brothers was home for a visit with his family...Family dinners...Lamb or Pig roasts with all the trimmings  were her ideal ways to spend any holiday...Vacations always meant a trip to visit family..Mildred was generous to everyone...always ready to lend a helping hand..I personally benefitted many times by her thoughtfulness and readiness to help....Mildred was my sister-in-law and my friend...Rest in Peace Mildred...We will always remember you.....
