Mildred Moncilovich, 92 of Carmel, Indiana, formerly of Steubenville, Ohio died Wednesday evening, April 7, 2010 at Sunrise Senior Living. She was born December 6, 1917 in Mingo Junction, Ohio a daughter of the late John & Anka Yurjevic Kostur. She graduated from Mingo High School and Steubenville Business College. Mildred was Serbian Orthodox by faith and an avid bridge player and traveler. Mildred was a retired secretary for the district superintendent of the United Methodist Church. After raising their family in Steubenville, Mildred and her late husband Nick resided in Clearwater, Florida for 31 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Nick on February 9, 1999; son Milan on February 10, 2004 and two sisters Mary Dodds & Louise Kucer. Mildred is survived by her twin daughters Anne M. (C. Richard) Currin of Indianapolis, IN and Naples, FL and Helen L. (James R.) Sauer of Minocqua, WI; eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and sister Diane Mart of Columbus, Ohio. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. with Very Rev. Rade Merick officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery.
