Mildred J. Hobson 92, formerly of Steubenville, died Saturday, February 26, 2005 at the Arbors at Hilliard. She was born in Johnstown, PA on October 31, 1912, daughter of the late Michael and Mary McKinney LaSavage. Mildred was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Council of Catholic Women and St. Francis Society. Preceding Mildred in death were her husband Joseph Hobson on February 1, 1986; one grandson John J. Gracie; and one sister Ann Knapp. Surviving are her three daughters Judith (Thomas) Giles of Hilliard, Ohio, Margaret (John) Gracie of Southern Pines, NC, and Theresa Shelton of Grove City, Ohio; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren; one brother Michael LaSavage; two sisters Mary Stunak and Irene Ducsay.
