Obituary For Mildred H. Collopy

Mildred H. Collopy, 94, of Wintersville, OH died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Sienna Skilled Nursing. She was born in Steubenville on January 21, 1921 a daughter of the late William and Louise Bose Huntsman. She was retired from the former Ohio Valley Hospital where she was the secretary for student nurses. She was a member of Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Richmond, OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roy S. Collopy; brothers William and John Huntsman; sisters Margaret Robinson and Alice Connelly. Mildred is survived by her sons David R. Collopy of Wintersville and Bruce A. (Martha) Collopy of Williamston, MI; daughter Janet (Thomas) Gallownia of Cecil, PA; grandchildren Tim Gallownia, Todd (Terri) Gallownia, Michael (Kelli) Collopy, Amy Collopy and Casey (Morgan) Collopy; great grandchildren Amelia, Dara, Owen and Daniel Collopy and Riley and Skyler Gallownia. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Friday, May 1, 2015 from 10a.m. until time of funeral services at Noon with Rev. Bill Westling officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery.

    So sorry for the loss of Cousin Millie. I remember some fun times with her and my cousin when my mother,, Anna Marie, was still alive. I wish I could visit with family, but I will be working at the time of services.
