Mildred C. Kaine 97 of Steubenville died Saturday, May 17, 2003 at her home of natural causes. She was born in Steubenville on December 3, 1905 a daughter of the late Bernard and Regina Weinman McCann. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Steubenville, Catholic Womens Club and St. Francis Society. She had worked at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel in the Coke Plant. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph P. Kaine in 1968, brothers Bernard, William and Robert McCann, sister Wilma Moore. She is survived by three sons Kenneth P. (Joyce) Kaine, with whom she resided, Ronald R. (Donna) Kaine, both of Steubenville, Robert H. (Bonnie) Kaine of Wintersville, 21 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass will be held on Tuesday 11:30a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. John McCoy officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville. Vigil service Monday at 8:45 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Holy Rosary Grade School Development Fund or Valley Hospice.
