Milan “Mike” Pevac 86 of Steubenville, Ohio died Saturday, May 3, 2003 at home of natural causes. He was born in Steubenville on January 4, 1917 a son of the late Milovan and Anica Smogonovcih Pevac. Mike was affiliated with The Spot Bar in Steubenville for many years. He was preceded in death by two brothers Sam and Nick Pevac and four sisters Dorothy Perich, Soka Rakinac, Stella Pevac and Mildred Paic. Mike is survived by three nieces Susan and Kathy Pevac, both of Steubenville and Linda Smith of Springfield, Ohio and one nephew Eli Perich of Las Vegas, Nevada. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Monday 6-8 p.m. where services will be held at noon on Tuesday with Rev. Clint Quillen officiating. Following the cemetery committal services, the family and friends will gather at Shorac Family Center. Memorial contributions may be made to Wintersville United Methodist Church.
