The uncle Mike I always thought of was Larger than Life. A Gentleman's Gentleman who lead by example and always. I will never forget that deep base voice that would greet me as I entered his house through the years as we visited, or the big hands he had to shake with. I will never forget the rum oatmeal or his "scurvy juice" vodka and orange juice that my sister and I had on the boat (my first drink) "Carl vodka is a gentleman's drink remember that". Always full of hospitality and respect for all whether or not it was deserved. If there was an issue it was dealt with in private and you moved on.Always the teacher and full of wisdom; and if you were a good student you would always take something away. He always loved and accepted his family; and we are lucky to have a small piece of it. Uncle Mike you will be deeply missed
