Michael A. Yuricic, 52, of Steubenville, Ohio died Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at Trinity West ER of an apparent heart attack. He was born in Steubenville on April 2, 1953. He is employed as a weigh man in the 80 Inch Mill at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. South Works in Mingo Junction. Mike is a member of Holy Resurrection Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church; Serbian Mens Club; past president of A.S.E.R.B.S.; past master of Pilgrim Lodge 691 F&AM; and Steubenville Shrine. Preceding Mike in death were his maternal grandfather Sam Winovich and paternal grandparents Martha Yuricic Takas and Andrew Takas. Michael is survived by his wife Linda R. Paesano Yuricic whom he married on September 16, 1978; daughter Michelle L. Yuricic at home; parents Sam M. and Cecelia Winovich Yuricic of Steubenville; brother David P. (Patricia) Yuricic of Columbus, Ohio; sister Karen (Joseph) Felix of Steubenville; maternal grandmother Anna Winovich of Steubenville; many nieces and nephews; mother-in-law Mildred M. Paesano and sister-in-law Marsha (Vaughn) Lowe both of Follansbee. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Thursday 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. On Friday, friends may call at Holy Resurrection Serbian Church from 12:30 p.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. with Very Rev. Rade Merick officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Pomen 6:30 p.m. and Masonic service 8 p.m. Thursday Memorials may be directed to the Masonic 32nd Degree Learning Center.
