Melba J. Archer 85 of Steubenville, OH died Monday, June 2, 2002 at Carriage Inn, Steubenville, OH. She was born in Hanoverton, OH on June 30, 1916 the daughter of the late Jesse M. and Annetta B. Wrikeman Naragon. She was a member of First Westminster Presbyterian Church, Steubenville, where she belonged to the Helen Martin Circle, and held various offices within the church, she was also a member of the Presbyterians Womens Association and was a retired custodian at the church. Proceeded in death by husband Clark B. Archer, Sr., brothers Merle, Donald, Lester and Russell Naragon, sisters Esperance Raley, Mae Linton. Survived by son Clark B. (Sandra) Archer, Jr. of Rock Hill, SC, daughter Patricia (W. Peter) Erb of Pittsburgh, PA, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 2502 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville, OH on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M., and from 1:30 P.M. until the time of service at 2:00 P.M. at First Westminster Presbyterian Church, 235 North 4th Street, Steubenville, with Rev. Robert Marsh and Rev. Robert Shearer officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville, OH.
