Maybelle Thomas, 99, of Winter Springs, FL formerly of Steubenville died Friday July 28, 2006 at Tuskawilla Nursing Home in Winter Springs, FL. Maybelle was born in Paducah, KY on July 13, 1907 a daughter of the late Issac and Bertha Bearden Moyers. She was a member of Wintersville Church of Christ, AARP, Sunset Club, LaBelle Chapter 414 Order of the Eastern Star, and Buckeye Senior Citizen’s Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles A. “Spade” Thomas on October 13, 1979; son Donald W. Thomas; three brothers; and one sister. Surviving are daughter Betty Jane Davis of Edgewater, Fl; sister Dorothy Monbarron of Navarre, OH; four grandchildren Gail Davis-Aleshire, Robert Thomas Davis, Vickie Thomas-Bossuot and Kerry Thomas; seven great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
