Maxine Grimm Roush, 87, of Steubenville, Ohio died Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Trinity West. She was born July 25, 1922 in Clarksburg, WV a daughter of the late James E. & Alma Layfield McNemar. She was the retired operator of Maxine’s Beauty Shop and a member of Bell Chapel U.M. Church and U.M. Women. Preceding Maxine in death were her first husband Fred R. “Fuzzy” Grimm; brother Delbert McNemar and niece Janet Lee Giffin. Surviving are her husband Austin H. Roush; sisters Murldine Snodgrass of Richmond, Leona Giffin of Unionport, Edna (Dale) Cline of Bloomingdale, and Elsie (Ron) Crouch of East Liverpool; step-daughter Carol Lynn (Mike) Donahue of Follansbee, WV; sisters-in-law Theresa Roush and Hilda Roush both of Follansbee, WV and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., and on Wednesday at Bell Chapel U.M. Church, 3419 State Rte 213, Steubenville, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m. with Rev. Jeff Proya officiating. Entombment at Fort Steuben. Memorials may be directed to Bell Chapel U.M. Church
