Mary T. Simpson, 81, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away on January 30, 2026 at Trinity Medical Center West. Mary was born on November 5, 1944 in Steubenville, Ohio the daughter of the late William N. & Eva Unsworth Simpson. Mary was a 1964 graduate of Steubenville High School. She was a member of Our Place of Jefferson County and Prime Time Senior Services. Mary was an avid bingo player who loved to socialize with her friends and neighbors. She enjoyed to travel all over the country especially with her son Robert and his partner Lee.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents William & Eva Simpson and siblings LeRoy & Robert N. Simpson. She is survived by her son Robert D. Simpson and his partner Lee Cook of San Diego, California, as well as numerous cousins and extended family.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 between 4 p.m. until the time of services at 6 p.m. with Rev. William Westling officiating. Burial at New Alexandria Cemetery.

Mary was a lifelong friend of the family. She was so caring and loving and had a great personality. No matter what life threw at her or what challenges she faced she was always in good spirits and always smiling and laughing. She will be greatly missed. Rest in peace sweet angel.
