Mary “Jeanne” Pugh Vein, 88, of Wintersville passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Valley Hospice North. She was born in East Liverpool, OH on February 4, 1931, a daughter of the late John D. and Regina Lingg Pugh. Jeanne graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1948 and joined the U. S. Army. She moved to Florida in 1967 and retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 31 years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her twin brother John J. Pugh; brother Ronnie Pugh and sister Shirley Ryan. Jeanne is survived by her daughter Mary Vein Eastridge of Wintersville; grandchildren, Brandee (Bruce) Prange, of Pensacola, FL, and Holly Marie Eastridge of Pinellas Park, FL; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends that she dearly loved. Jeanne, a committed Christian, loved her Lord Jesus Christ and served others with all of her heart. She was a member of Wintersville United Methodist Church. She was a wonderful mother to (Mary) and beloved grandmother to Brandee and Holly.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 30, 2019, 10a.m. at Winterville United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Clint Quillen officiating. Graveside burial service at the Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA on Monday at 2p.m. Full military honors at graveside.
