Mary M. “Peggy” D’Albenzio, 74, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away Monday, November 24, 2014 at Trinity West surrounded by her family. She was born November 30, 1939 in Steubenville a daughter of the late Harry J. Evans & Mary F. Arnholt Evans Forbes. She retired from Waldenbooks after 28 years of service and then worked for City of Steubenville Golf Course until her retirement. Peggy was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church; Womans Club of Steubenville and Academy of Lifelong Learning at Franciscan University. Preceding Peggy in death were her husband, Querino J., and sister Joan Ann Cook.Peggy is survived by her children Debbie Allen, Lynne (Ray) Bentley, Jimmy Cash & Amy (Michael) Meadows; six grandchildren Justin & Ryan Allen, Eric & Anthony Bentley and Mara & Brynn Meadows; sister Donna J. Keagler and George Wilson; brother-in-law Jim Cook and her beloved cat, Divot.Friends may call at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2565 Alexander Avenue, Steubenville, on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral liturgy with mass at 11:30 a.m. with Msgr. Gerald E. Calovini officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to Teramana Cancer Center.
