Mary Kellis of Steubenville, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 9, 2004 at Trinity West. She was the devoted wife of John Kellis and the loving mother of Doctors George, Michael and Augustine Kellis who practice medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born in Yorkville, Ohio, the first of two daughters of Michael and Irene Gemelos Moskos, immigrants from Mesta, Chios, Greece. She worked in the banking industry until her marriage when she relocated to Steubenville. Mary tirelessly supported her husband and helped him to establish a real estate business and the Marina Industrial Testing, Inc., a firm engaged in the inspection of industrial plants and ships world-wide. She was an active member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Steubenville, Ohio and an officer of philanthropic church and Greek organizations. She served a Supreme Secretary of the United Chios Societies of America and Canada. Marika will be missed by her husband, sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sister, brothers-in-law, nephews and nieces. May her memory be eternal. Funeral Services will be held for Mary on Monday, May 10 at the Nativity of Theotokos Greek Orthodox Monastery, 121 St. Elias Lane, Saxonburg, PA 16056. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to the Monastery Building Fund where she will rest in peace.
