Mary Jo Conforti, 80, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Villa Vista. She was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on August 18, 1941 a daughter of the late Jerry & Mary Gitto Zitari. She was a member of Triumph of the Cross Catholic Church. Preceding Mary Jo in death were her beloved husband, Frank J. Conforti whom she married on September 8, 1962 and he passed on October 8, 2000; stepmother Gina Fabian Zitari; stepsisters Norma Taibi & Esther D’Angelo.
Mary Jo is survived by her son Joseph F. (Gina) Conforti; daughter Annette (David) Bertoia; grandchildren David Bertoia, Brittany (John) Fallon, Joey Conforti & Marisa Conforti; sister Concetta (Ron) Meagher; stepbrother Al Fabian; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Funeral liturgy with mass following at noon at Holy Rosary Church with Rev. Thomas Nau officiating. Entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice.
