I was flooded with memories when I read Mary Jane Ritson's name in the obituaries. Mrs. Ritson was my kindergarten teacher at the old Stark Elementary School on Lover's Lane in the mid-sixties. I watched her closely since she was the first teacher I ever had. Her calm and caring demeanor and her kindness and encouragement set the tone to move forward for another 12 years! Few teachers leave a warm spot in your heart and Mary Jane Ritson was one of those few.

Mary Jane and Bob were great friends of my parents in Hollywood addition from the 1950's. What an incredible positive person to have known.
