Mary Jane Heckert, 88, was called home on Friday, August 23, 2019. She was born November 21, 1930, a daughter of the late Albert & Eva Roush of Brilliant, Ohio. She was a charter member of Wintersville Church of Christ. Mary Jane was preceded in death by the love of her life, William Kenneth Heckert on May 6, 1996 and they were married on June 17, 1955. She was the secretary for Gilchrist Lumber in Brilliant.
Mary Jane is survived by her children Karen J. (Kenneth) Doty of Independence, MO and son David K (Janet E.). Heckert of Steubenville, OH; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Tuesday 4-7 p.m. where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial at Holly Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Wintersville Church of Christ.
