Mary J. Graceffa, 101 of Mingo Junction, OH died Monday September 12, 2011 in Springfield, OH. She was born in Wellsville, OH on October 13, 1909 a daughter of the late Guiseppi and Anna Commarota. Mary was a homemaker, member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and its Women’s Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerlando Graceffa; brothers Tony and Pete Commarota; sisters Edith and Lena. Mary is survived by her children Mary Jo (Steve) Parello of Mingo Junction and her son Pete (Dolores) Graceffa of Toronto, OH; sister-in-law Anna Commarota; grandchildren Ray and Jerry Parello, Bob Zamborsky, Colleen Ginvito, Dawn Woodward and Rebecca Cotrell; nephews Joe (Rose) Commarota, Pete (Peggy) Commarota, Carmello (Julia) Graceffa of Canada and Ned; nieces Frances Commarota and Anna May Gatz, Jenny Rivoldi of Tucson, AZ and niece Rose. 9 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Friends may call at Shorac Funeral Home (formerly McClave Funeral Home), 611 N. 4th Street, Steubenville, OH on Thursday 2-4 and 6-8p.m. Funeral liturgy with Mass on Friday, 10:30a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Mingo Junction with Fr. James Dunfee as celebrant. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Vigil services Thursday at 7:45 p.m.
