Obituary For Mary Hoover

Mary Hoover, 98, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Gables Care Center. She was born August 31, 1922 in Steubenville, a daughter of the late Charles & Julie Miller. Mary was a member of Zion United Church of Christ. Preceding Mary in death were her husband Denzil R. Hoover on November 13, 2003; siblings Ann, Mildred, Charles, Ed, Jim, Bill & Bob; and son-in-law Virgil Rabe.

Mary is survived by her daughter Carol L. Rabe; two granddaughters Jody Taylor Pownall & Kim Stover, eight great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.

Private services will be observed by the family.

Entombment at Union Cemetery.

Mary’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Gables Care Center staff for their excellent care and compassion.

Memorials may be directed to Zion United Church of Christ, 139 N. Fifth Street, Steubenville, OH 43952
