Mary H. Yenchochic 84 of Mingo Junction, OH died Thursday, January 3, 2002 in LaPalma, CA. She was born in Salt Run, OH on May 28, 1917 a daughter of the late John and Julia Yurchik Hritz, Sr. She was a member of St. Andrews Orthodox Christian Church, Mingo Junction, OH, and its St. Mary’s Lodge. Retired from the former Hub Department Store, Steubenville, OH where she worked as a sales clerk for 22 years. Mary was proceeded in death by her husband Michael Yenchochic on December 6, 1979; one brother John Hritz and one sister Ann Shekas. Surviving are one son Michael K. Yenchochic of Alexandria, VA; two daughters Eileen Collie of LaPalma, CA and Karen Yenchochic of North Royalton, OH; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Private services will be held at Hoff-Shorac Funeral Home, 235 Clifton Ave., Mingo Jct., Ohio with Rev. Michael Zahirsky officiating. Burial at St. Andrews Cemetery, Mingo Junction.
