Mary F. Gross, 75, of Bloomingdale, Ohio passed away on Sunday April 17, 2022 at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, Tennessee. Mary was a daughter of the late David L. & Margaret M. Lewis Higgins. She was a longtime member of the Unionport Methodist Church and retired as the “Jack of all trades” from Schrickel Chiropractic in Wintersville.
Mary is survived by her loving and caring husband of 59 years, Walter E. Gross, Jr.; two daughters Margaret “Peggy” (Kevin) Forrester and Eva (Darren) Pinkerton; four grandchildren Justin (Chad Walton) DellaPenna, Stephanie (Tim) Newberry, Ryan (Kelly) Gross & Jessica Pinkerton; three great-grandchildren Huck Newberry and Lilli & Savannah Kinney.
Mary is preceded in death by two infant sons John Henry & Joseph William; brother David Higgins and sister Pumpkin Davis.
Mary had several passions including quilting, watching auto racing and especially camping but nothing compared to the love she had for her family. She spent all of her time enjoying life with Walter, her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. with Pastor Chuck Mehl and David Smallwood officiating.
Following the service everyone is invited to join the family for a luncheon at Aladdin Land, 6365 Township Road 166, Bloomingdale, Ohio 43910.
