Mary Elizabeth "Bess" Miller, 96, of Steubenville, Ohio died Saturday, March 12, 2005 at Lancia Villa Royale. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 17, 1908 a daughter of the late Robert H. and Lottie Simons Miller, Sr. Bess was the retired executive secretary for former National Steel President Hayden Harris. Preceding Bess in death were one sister Lottie Garvin and three brothers Robert Jr., Harold P., and David Miller and one nephew Robert Miller Garvin. Bess was much loved and will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews William L. "Larry", James Todd and Phillip C. Garvin; Carol Cassidy; Barbara Keys; Sharon Kimmell; and Michael, David, Douglas and Robert Miller. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jeff Proya officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery.
